An einem milden Wintertag wurde Irmgard im Kreis der Familie begraben. Ihr Witwer, mein Onkel, arrangierte eine liebevolle Beerdigung mit vielen persönlichen Erinnerungen. Er erweckte an ihrem Grab Ereignisse aus der Vergangenheit zum Leben und sprach über die zahlreichen Pläne, die die beiden noch hatten und denen der Tod ein jähes Ende bereitete.
